Scalare ?

I bought 2 small angels yesterday, I am not sure whether they are goldens or koi angels. The LFS had them listed as 'angels' :-\

It sure looks like a golden.

I guess it would be easier to ID once its a bit bigger

 

Thanks Andre, I think so too as the koi's usually have an orange tinge.

BTW, I saw 2 veil tails yesterday for R43 each, they were very small - overpriced do you think?

 

Definitely overpriced.

I paid R40 for some adult angels a while back.

 

Thought so, although they are beautiful and I've never seen any in fish shops before. I suppose the owner felt the price was justified due to the scarcity (is that a word?) of them.

Panorama used to get them quite regularly. Normally around R15 for a small fish. What type was it though?
