Hi there you lekker people! Almost a year out of the hobby! Ya well the big move to New Zealand is to blame. Anyways, back into it. Well slowly getting back into it again. First world country and all but damn they are limited on planted tank stuff! Its because they regulate things better which is cool but very hampering! Sooo I've got a triangular tank that still needs a stand. All the lighting, filtration ect. ect. But not the time to do it all yet Went scouting for some wood and moss... OH MY GOSH! NZ have plenty of mos and things for paladariums! So here is a few pics of some em uh... inspiration! Some quality is lacking, sorry. Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk
Very cool. Whereabouts in NZ are you? I’m moving at the end of the year if all goes to plan. I found online shops selling plants? Marc
http://www.nzplants.auckland.ac.nz/...pecies/fissidentaceae/fissidens-berteroi.html http://www.nzplants.auckland.ac.nz/...ecies/fissidentaceae/fissidens-rigidulus.html you have some nice Fissidens in your local streams. There are also many native aquatic plants, some of which we are all familiar with already: https://www.thekrib.com/Plants/Plants/NZ/ This site seems pretty well equipped: https://aquaticplants.co.nz/ Enjoy your exile!
Thanks guys. Fissidens! Crazy will kost certainly get some then! Thanks for the links....need to do some more research! I'm in Auckland, quite a hustle and bustle but about 15km out of town is all farmland and country side. So as soon as I transitioned to my new job I'll hopefully get out more and start up my tank Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk
@tyronegenade cool links thank you very much! I'll experiment with some "terrestrial" mosses then too! Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk
