Hair algae is a sign of low ferts and low CO2. Increase both. (Well, it's actually a sign of too much light)

The tank is looking good though. Maybe decrease the light period by an hour as well?

    Thanks :)

Got loads of ferts. CO2, agreed, could be too low... In fact am almost certain too low. My CO2 reactor is not perfect, although not bad. I may fiddle with it, or build another if I can motivate myself. I must get that ISTA solution so I can actually know for certain :p

    Lights only on 6 hours.

Yes, yes... Or wait a few weeks for the Scape version... :p

Ok, 6 hours... Then up the CO2 by quite a bit. But obviously not too much. Don't gas your fish!!

I will, but will wait till I get that solution. Maybe I should actually go to the shops and get some :)

Hahaha, the jungle scape is coming soon. My corydoras are loving that glosso wow :toothy9: They are the busiest little guys. I remember now why I had them as a kid! Haha, I feel young again, until I scratch my balding head :laughing7: :glasses10:

Thanks, but it's really not worthy of TOTM, not at all. But if it makes you happy :) I have no desire for competitions, of any form. So my view would be to be nominated purely so people could see it, and learn. And really, I'm not at that level where you can learn a great deal from me, unless it's DIY or engineering :p

@AdrianT I think it is worthy. Well, if you get TOTM then people will see your tank when they visit the site :p

Looking awesome Adrian, like Sean said "when" you are home but the bubble count up and check the fish after an hour, adjust again if no fish are heading for the top, adjust bubble at a time, do not think when the corries head for the surface there is something wrong.

@AdrianT did you make the tank yourself or get someone to assemble it for you? I'm considering a new one myself and am not sure where to ask.

    Thanks
