Hi Everyone Thought it might be time to introduce myself as I have been lurking on the forums for a long time now I currently only have a 120l planted tank because i sized down the beginning of the year due to time and finances (ima student) Have kept freshwater since i can remember and I used to be into marines as well and kept marines for 5 years ( my father still does though) cool ... that pretty much it oh and this is my tank ATM ... recently replanted and want to get a real CO2 system running soon
Was just about to ask the same thing of that ferns... Welcome to APSA... if you got a plant and a tank, you will meet lots of new friends here
Thanks for the welcomes I am actually not sure what they are lol it was one of the questions pending for you guys ... they dont have roots the (Pterophytes of course) but the rhisome like with the java ferns and those types..I just know the grow super slow , but grow nonetheless Unless someone can answer me i will ask the pet shop i bought it at this weekend and let you know Brandon
Mine also grew but after about 3months started to die. But ask the smart guys here hehe. They know their stuff
Thanks If it does die it wont be a tragedy as it is overshadowing most of the other plants Will take it out anyway should the other plants suffer. Brandon
Hi and welcome. Were you perhaps at dorry pets the weekend? I just recognised the guppies and the tropica CO2. Next time i will say hi....LOL
lol yes i was ! Dicdnt get the guppies from you guys though lol.. got them on Friday from Irma...but saw them there on Saturday Cool, I might come this weekend to get a real CO2 system want to be more accurate when adding it...I just need to sell my skimmer Have the regulators come in yet? Brandon
The fern you got there is a Borneo Fern, 'Trichomanes javanicum'. Not a true aquatic. But looks great in a pot with constant watering. Some people do have succes with it by taking it out every second week or so and leave it emmersed for a few days. But that sounds like a lot of work
Bolbitis ia also a fern plant that will work great. Slow growing fern plant. Tbe african water fern. My typing is messed upv
