Hi Wazi, I've added JBL Denitrol to the tank. According to their info, you can add fish after 15 minutes.

Honestly I'd wait a few days. I usually add stability for two+ days before adding fish

Yeah, i would play it safe and wait a few days. you do not want to throw your hard earned money away on fish dying because you were impatient.
Unfortunately this hobby is a waiting game and patients is key. Trust me though the reward is worth it.

What you must do is use GU10 6500 k lamps as well as GU10 red lamps and you can even add blue lamps, in a ratio of 3 x 6500k, 2 x red and 1 x blue. Blue and red are used for photosynthesis. BTW warm white, in other words 2700 - 3000 k lamps feed the algae and do nothing for the plants. Been there, done that, and I still wear the T-shirt:sarcasm:. You just need to know how which wavelengths are needed for photosynthesis and for that you need to search for a thread on PAR lighting on this forum by Tyrone Genade from a few years back.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

Paul, with only the GU10 6500 k lamps you will run into problems with the more demanding plants, I fully agree, but you need those other wavelengths and you will be surprised at the difference.

Hi everyone. It's been a while but at least took photos of the progress of the tank. AMAZING growth!

Photo taken on 29/08/2018 - got an algae bloom, added some nerite snails and they sorted the problem. 20180829_180054 (2).jpg
