Very nice, glad the male did his part, in fact he would have done most of it with all the incubation duty! Spirulina powder and keeping the b'marrows up would be good..
Something I never got before - red/orange sunflowers To offset their red-orange colour, we planted yellow ones from last Spring's seeds Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
LOL too far away, Ferdie. This is at the driveway gate/fence, the house is far to walk with 11 litres at a time (40L in total WC per week) for two tanks
Marc there should be more young about unless they are being eaten by other fish... I get a spawning up 200 or more.. First spawning or two is usually smaller, but not that small.. your male's father one spawning
Eish, ....I want some of those longfin Ancistrus, have been wanting for ages. Is Trevor Pleco again supplying ? ... or can I get some from Joshua Tree?
I'm seeing more and more Trevor but the Angels and Rams are probably snacking on them :-( @JCL - Let me see how things go...
Sure rams and angels will polish them off quick sticks, can you not put the young you find in your other tank.. ? I find sucking them up with a little pipe the easiest.
Wasn't sure if I should leave them or move them. If they are still there tonight I will try catching them
Great, try rescue the buggers, they can go back into the tank within a couple of weeks after the vulnerable stage. Or at least test out a few in another tank and see how they do in a predator free world..
