Very nice, glad the male did his part, in fact he would have done most of it with all the incubation duty! Spirulina powder and keeping the b'marrows up would be good..

Something I never got before - red/orange sunflowers

To offset their red-orange colour, we planted yellow ones from last Spring's seeds

LOL too far away, Ferdie. This is at the driveway gate/fence, the house is far to walk with 11 litres at a time (40L in total WC per week) for two tanks

Marc there should be more young about unless they are being eaten by other fish... I get a spawning up 200 or more..
First spawning or two is usually smaller, but not that small..

Sure rams and angels will polish them off quick sticks, can you not put the young you find in your other tank.. ?
I find sucking them up with a little pipe the easiest.

I can now see approximately 35 with 2 albinos. They seem to be doing a good job of hiding.

Great, try rescue the buggers, they can go back into the tank within a couple of weeks after the vulnerable stage. Or at least test out a few in another tank and see how they do in a predator free world..

The angels seem to be preoccupied with eating guppy fry and the rams with eating my shrimp :)
