    Hi gents,

need some more advice.... if it's not tending to the plants, it's deciding on what live stock to add....

So I am currently being overrun by what seems to be ramshorn snails.
Would a zebra loach be a good idea? Especially with shrmps in the tank???

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave

Zebra loaches have never been very good at reducing snail population in my own tanks, I've tried but never had any success with them, they find a spot to hide and nap and that't it. Bala Sharks on the other hand sorted my snails in no time - and the shrimp too :(

Why not get your hands on some assassin snails?

Hi I would say go with assassin snails for the snail problem (do keep in mind its not and instant fix) plus they also eat algae :)

It seems a lot harder to find assassin snails though...

Keep the snails. If there massively multiplying your over feeding. They also help keep your tank clean.
