    Thanks guys I'm really chuffed!

It will house my Discus so it will have plants that can handle the heat. Going Apons, Enchinodorus, Crypts, a few select stems and a carpet of sorts...

I have to wait till Tuesday before I can fill her up. The tank builder is coming back to drill some holes in the bracing for the Lily pipes. I also have to decide if I'm going to window tint the back of the tank or not.... So many scapes running through my head now that its here! :laughing7:

NICE eventually why did this dude take 3 months to build a tank? I would have never waited this long.

Also funny that he did not rather brace the bottom section of the tank with only one 30cm wide bracing from the front to the back.

But anyway well done glad you eventually have your new tank, it is a BEAUTY.

Really hope you are not going to wait another 3 months for him to come and drill the holes for your lilly pipes.

Can only imagine how EXCITED you are.

    Enjoy!!!

To have gone braceless I would have had to have gone minimum 14mm glass which would have cost double what I paid.

Nope if he doesn't come on Tuesday I'm going to make the lily's go over the bracing!

I am super dooper excited! I can now visualize everything that's been in my overactive head for the last 3mths! Just hope I can pull it off!

Nice man I did not say you had to go braceless just weird that they braced the top and not the bottom section.

Luckily you are a home executive so you got lots of time to play around with you new baby

Enjoy it and remember lots of pics :occasion14:

Very cool - is it a floating base tank.

I am a little surprised that you do not have any bracing on the base then again it is 12 mm glass so probably not needed.

Would it be awfully rude to ask who the builder is?

Awesome tank Cher! Side braces don't look too wide, so to build custom lilys to fit around that shouldn't be an issue, only issue I have with so many bends is they become more difficult to clean. Just remember to keep your bends nice and flowing to minimize any loss of flow.
I will definitely be following to see how it all takes shape.

complete novice question here, but why do you not have a brace in the middle of the tank at the top but you have on the top right and left side of the tank?
