Theres nothing confusing about it.. you cant keep, breed, trade or sell shrimp.

maybe what is confusing is that many people are are still keeping, breeding, trading and selling these publicly without getting into any trouble.

The Forum is here to educate.. you cant say we didnt tell you :)

what I saw is that initially ALL shrimp were banned due to some that could burrow and damage dams, and then later on they removed all shrimp but those from the blacklist. this is weird because everyone knows something else

Think you confusing shrimp with crayfish here...

It's for that reason freshwater crayfish are still and will always be invasive

Shrimps were removed from the black list but this is not law yet. there was a revised list that they recommended years ago but it hasnt since been implemented. so, to my knowledge, the official law is that these are still illegal

True that. On TASA, there was this guy who kept on opening threads about the legality of invertes, plants and fish. There was this big argument about the legality of keeping and trading shrimp, then the mods had to close each of them one after the other. I mean if the blacklist/whitelist is in a grey area regarding this, then we do have a problem with people confusing on whether it's illegal or legal.

@Hendre: What @Deadpool said - pic as an example. Mexican Dwarf Crayfish.
