Want to know who is keeping geophagus in the country? Im looking for some but not Threadfins or surinamensis. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
Hi Rossouw, With regard to your request, there are Geophagus that are sold as Geophagus surinamensis, but they are in actual fact Geophagus altifrons. The name Geophagus surinamensis was changed about ten years ago, but our importers are so out of date on these issues that they sell them under that name. If you are interested in Geophagus, Hervé in Uitenhage has some Geophagus sp Tapajos Red Head which have recently spawned, so contact him if you are interested. He may also have some Geophagus brasiliensis, but they are murder machines as far as I know.... Kind regards, Dirk
Hi Dirk B, Thx you for the info. I already have Tapajos Red Heads but is looking for some other species then the normal to stock my tank. Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
