    Hi guys,

So I recently saw a whole lot of inverts that look like a flea but are about 5 mm long and 3 mm high in my tank. They probably came with a plant somewhere along the lines. They run along the bottom and seem to like the cucumber I feed my otos. I tried googling an image but all I get it either Daphnia or shrimp. They dont seem to be causing any trouble as yet. My fish leave them alone (I suspect this is due to me only keeping rather small fish). I have tried taking a photo but my skills are not up to scratch and they are rather fast little things. Any help and advice will be appreciated.

I think it could be Hyalella azteca. It looks kinda like it. But how did it make it all the way to SA and into my tank on a plant.

in all seriousness, you may have gotten some eggs on your plants. snails are transported by mistake in this way too..
