Water lilly like plant

    Hi all

    Im looking for something like Tiger Lotus or any tipe of water lilly that will not outgrow a 100 liter tank.

    Anybody have some ideas?

    i paid R15 for them - i have two in my tank at the moment

    Im thinking of adding some to my tank.

    Will have to trim allot in order to make space for them.

    NICE!I like the look of this plant.

    Seems that all it needs is some good light and rich substrate.

    yup yup - i got another one in the back of thank that came out of a smaller tank - i hope it takes off

    righteo - they grow at one hell of a rate! i am already getting worried about it blocking the light in the tank!

    That is good man.If they growing then mean the condicions are right.Can you not trim it down a bit?I read you can trane the lotus to grow lower.

    I visited H20 over the weekend but they did not have any left.Will wait for next shipment.

    yea i am sure you can just cut the high leaves off - EVERY day :p

    Another nice lilly type plant for a small tank is the Hydrocotyle sp.

    I have some to spare if you want.

    Hydrocotyle sp. looks really nice!Comman name is Marsh pennywort right?
