So there this place down the road from me that I have always wanted to go into!!! Last weekend I had the chance, GUYS, whatever I had in mind was not what I saw here's a couple tasters!!! Yes the price on this is R98000 for this Elm!
You must tell me where this place is, I have such a passion for Bonsai and love looking whenever I get the chance. The Elm forest is so totally awesome. Besides the price I would love to know how one would expect to move such a large setup...?
Lots of people to help you can't see it but it is about 1m wide and 60cm deep... I have already started saving for it to put on my deck one day, granted it might take me 10 years to put a deposit down but would still be awesome!!! And there are hundreds more there and I mean hundreds, and when you think that's the end of it there are more growing under all the shelves!!!
Sorry guys I have been super busy...I don't know prices of bonsai's so I. An comment on of they are cheap or expensive...
Re: Re: Topsum Bonsai's... Raymond if I googled right then it is the above place, Lizid must just confirm.
I went there today with the wife and we walked out with an Elm and a Duranta. Just re-potted them into bigger pots now. I'll take some pics a little later. But, now we have 2 empty Bonsai pots just begging for some new trees... I have always been into Bonsai, and now I finally have 2!! Oh, and the Elm was around R300 and the Duranta was R220. They are about 20cm tall, so not tiny, but not massive either. So, now, how do you ensure that they stay alive? And what are the proper care procedures of Bonsai? Is there any place where one can do a proper bonsai course? I want to learn how to shape them.
