Thanks dude, oh yeah this tank had a HUGE transformation from a plastic planted to fully planted forest for my beloved Barbs
Quick Update Hi my fellow green fingers, I gave the Puntius Effect a nice trim on the right side of the tank it was needed for some extra nice new growth, will post new pics in about a week's time. Till next time
I believe Mark AKA Joshua tree also have a few huge SAE and have not heard him complain with them eating his plants. I have really not seen them eat any of my plants so far, so holding thumbs. But thanks for the TIP dude really appreciate it lots
its ok.. give it time its a fact and not a maybe from what ive read and seen they eventually do eat plants. they chow down on wallichi, moss, HM and other soft leaved stems. usually starts when you starve them.. then it becomes habit! but some ppl say that theirs eat plants with no reason at all. they are well fed but they still chow down on plants. SAE are awesome for BBA.. but i would try get smaller ones so that they dont turn into plant munching monsters so quickly.
LOL oh well if it does happen then I will just replace the plants with new ones so it means extra business for you
Mine don't eat plants (yet) but I must be honest and say I don't really see them eating algae either. They do eat all the other fishes food! Flakes, mini pellets, cory sinking pellets...
I dig my 6 SAE they are just to awesome, most of the time the pack of SAE are together chilling or swimming around now and then you see one chillin on a leave
Quick Update Hi my fellow green fingers. Some serious trimming was needed in the Puntius Effect, all the plants will grow out nicely again I dig my HM, Hydrocotyle tripartita tree it is looking beyond awesomeness All the plants will take some time to grow in nicely again but it was needed. Enjoy till next time
Yeah it was needed bt it still looks beautiful. It will grow much better and "cleaner" from now on Can't wait for the results after a months time
Thanks my friend Yeah it was needed and like you say it will grow out much better then before. Cannot wait for the new growth Give it a couple of weeks
My Red Ozelot Sword Just a quick photo of how well my Red Ozelot sword it growing. The leaves are roughly between 12-15cm wide Really my favourite echinodorus species. Enjoy till next time
Dude, are you sure that's a red and not a green? I have E. Ozelot green and it looks exactly the same.
Either or DUDE Slagter still told me on my plant ID that it is Ozelot RED some my the leaves are actually red so should then probably be Ozelot RED What about wow dude plants looking good or awesome whuhahahaha
Why bother ...your plants always look good these days My Ozelot green produces red leaves which turn green. Is yours from Anubias?
