    Hello,

I am looking for plant suggestions that grow +-50cm tall - preferably low tech requirements?

    Background usage.

    Thanks,

Thanks Ferdie, will have a look. Whats your opinion on Seachem Flourish (or similar Seachem) product vs Scape & Aqua Organic (not sure if you tried these) as a basic fertilizer keeping things simple?

It's not as simple as just saying buy one or the other. But, if you only going to be growing low light / maintenance plants such as ferns and mosses or Anubias etc., then Seachem Flourish or Scape Complete or Organic Aqua should suffice. Both Scape and Organic Aqua are local businesses. Personally I'd prefer to support local business and would suggest Scape over the others. However, ideally I'd recommend mixing your own ferts. It's super cheap and easy, just requires a little reading up.

Thanks @R.C. for the info. Good to know that Scape and Aqua Organic are local. Will do more reading on DIY ferts - want to keep it simple for now and try out more DIY ideas as I progress. Thanks.

My vallis routinely hits 60cm or so. Maybe longer! Definitely worth considering too :)

No idea haha! Got two plants 2 years back.. now I have about 30(?) And they just keep coming. No idea why they have sprung up so much but it's pretty cool! That string in front is 6 plants that have grown from runners in the past two months  IMG_20180520_203055.jpg

Just DSD's, flourish and fish poop haha. I need to rescape and redo my ferts soon, but plants on runners grow pretty fast!
