He,he - last time I was there...did some conversion on a Guppy trio I really liked.... R800 was a bit rich for me.... but pretty.

I love Taiwan...remember one evening REAL late sitting at a coffee shop in Tainan... there was this earthenware pot next to me,filled with water - holding no more than 40 litres and covered in duckweed.... witch suddenly "moved" - had a look and there was a 20cm plec inside....owner said it had been there for 8 years ... no filter....

Ya they got their own way of doing things:p there are so many setups that you think fish would defn die but they doin ok..Fish are so cheap they try extreme things..lots of budget tanks..

its R1=NTD$3.5..A complete tank is expensive..plants and fish are cheap and there's all sorts of rare plants:) neons are about R1 each!! rare plants are about 20 rands a stem..

Interestingly the owner was telling me they buy the rare stems at R2k each so that's why per stem its so expensive..

Common( in taiwan that's glosso, HC, arcuata, HM, ug ie. rare plants in SA:p) is R10 per portion:p
