Hi Guys

I'm currently getting a stack overflow message when I post or refresh. Anybody else getting this?

I think it means you need to do a water change (clear browsing history)...
because your EI browsing is caused to high build up of unused pages...

I will check the browsing history on my pc at work tomorrow but as far as I remember I have it set to delete browsing history when it closes

but anyway here is some tru tech talk...

A stack overflow error can occur in a computer program due to excessive memory usage. This excessive memory usage occurs on the call stack, which is where information is stored relating to the active subroutines in the program. The call stack has a limited amount of memory available to it and its size (the amount of memory) is determined by several factors, including the programming language used to write the program, the architecture of the computer it is run on, whether multi-threading is an available feature on the CPU, and how much memory is available on the computer in general.

Typically, when a stack overflow error occurs, the program crashes and can either lock up preventing further use of it or it may close altogether. Any unsaved data or work would be lost. The stack overflow error is often caused by either an infinite loop in the programming or the creation of variables in the programming that are too large for the size of the call stack. There are other possible causes, but these are the two major and most common causes.

The stack overflow problem is not as prevalent on the newer operating systems, however, because of the small footprint on mobile devices it can become challenging. If your operating system on your mobile device is giving you a stack overflow error you may have too many apps running. You may have a virus using stack space. You could even have hardware damage that could cause a stack overflow error message. Check your app usage and virus protection and run a memory diagnostic app on your mobile device to see if this will help clear up your error.
