Lol - funny you should ask, was looking at some of the online shops de, ru and cz and nothing equipment or tanks seems to be all that special at the moment, truth is with the current / future R/$ we should probably looking more for local than imports.

livestock / plants - yeah maybe a different story, but hardscpae I feel we need to hunting closer to home for our stock.

    Later Ferdie

Yes, from Simon, if I can arrange it. I am not promising anything yet, but that is the plan of action.

Hope to come this with some discus and dwarf cichlids......

    Kind regards,

You planning on giving breeding them a serious attempt? I never read or actually checked if his tank bred altums are easier to breed?

    Kind regards,

I cannot give you any prices yet, because we are waiting for transport quotations. Marco du Toit and I are handling this import together.

Due to their extreme sensitivity, all the altums will first be sent to me and I will settle them in and quarantine them for a minimum of two weeks before any distribution.

Apistos will be distributed as soon as possible, but this will not be rushed.

We will take transport time into consideration precisely so that we do not have the disasters that other suppliers of dwarf cichlids have been having in the last couple of years.

If you seriously interested, please contact me, so that I can put your name on a distribution list. I will give general progress on the shipment on the forum as we go. Projected arrival date for the shipment will be middle to end of January 2015. This will not be rush job!

I also want to mention that this shipment is not a profit making venture, Marco and I would like to import specialized fishes that are just simply not imported into South Africa by the normal trade, and we are making this available to others as well.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

    Hi Wolf,

We are estimating between R200 and R600 per pair of Apistos. The A cacautoides are on the cheaper end so this should give you are idea.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

    Hi Vis,

All we can do is ask if they have this fish so we will get back to you.

    No prices yet.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk
