    Hi everyone,

If you're looking to get rid of any excess snails and don't want to throw them away, please let me know.
I could do with as many snails as I can get my paws on for the puffers.

I still have, and am breeding snails in 3 tanks, however, they take too long to grow big enough for the puffers to eat.

    Thanks a mil :)

Hi Mattie, these puffers (dwarf) don't eat the shells, they just suck the snails out.

that he takes whole and spit the shells out afterwards:D

When I had the puffs they never ate the MTS...even the small ones.
@Linxie , don't stress too much about giving them snails. With me they sometimes went for weeks without. As long as you keep the bloodworms coming daily, they're happy. Snails are more like a treat for them and we don't eat ice cream every day do we...? :p

Thanks Neville, I was stressing a little about the snails. They get bloodworm daily. I've also tried daphnia with them but they ignore that. Funny thing is, they ignore the shrimp too. We put babies in their tank for them to hunt, and now the babies have grown and some have eggs in the saddle.

Haha, so you are lucky then and got some "hippie" puffers. I read that some puffers hunt the shrimp and some don't, it depends on the individuals. Wolf told me he has kept together in the past so this confirms that.

Thanks Jax, that would be great :) I'll put a few of them in the pond as well, since one of my tanks will be housing the assassin snail, I'll need to have a food supply ready for him as well. ^_^
Psshhh... not a lot.... psshhh :p

hahaha yeah hippie indeed :D Don't think I'll risk putting anything other than ghost shrimp in their tank though... just in case they decide they prefer colourful shrimp instead.
