Watching the news for the last few days, I've noticed that the powers that be have decided to hit soft targets again, rather than dealing with the real crime issues in this country, smoking is once again in the limelight!

I'd be interested to see your views on it.

Should be an interesting debate   ;D

There isn't an option on the Poll for "I'm not really phased"

Well I reckon leave the smokers be.
Our esteemed minister of health should maybe look at our country and evaluate if spending money on smoke policing is really as important as something like say AIDS. I would just like to know who's going to police the new smoking laws since the current ones are definately not being policed at all.

Anyhoo I reckon if smoking gets banned one would be able to make killing smuggling cigarettes.

Actually it could go either way, on the one hand the government needs to be seen to be doing something regarding health issues, (the garlic & beetroot brigade didn’t go down well with the world health organization, ditto for the "hiv defeating"
