    Hi All

Would 6 small discus be a safe number to try and get at least one breeding pair.

    Thanks

    Hi

6 would be fine and the more you get the greater the odd's. what we can do "If keen" is swap some of the same strain, males for females and visa versa to get more pairs, a win win

    Hi Peter

    Yes I would be keen.

Only have one pair at the moment. The others still need to grow some more.

Im looking @ +- 12 of the new ones from guppies.

Sorry haven't been on line for a while

Have been keeping discus in a planted tank for some time. The plants are not too good and my wife keeps on insisting on my replacing the plants. I believe that the temperature is too high for good plant growth.

Be careful of discus from Sam - I had a bad experience when he sold me sick stock that had just arrived. It cost me a lot of other discus as well. Quarantine well before adding to your display tank.

Northlands Aquatics up there has the most amazing Pigeon Checkerboards ( same as my avatar ) I have ever seen.. amazing R450ea.. little steep without seeing the size, well worth it if you saw them, can bring them in for maybe R300 but with the R/$ we are gonna start to kuk !
