hi, i'm struggling to grow glasso in my 60cm tall tank and am looking for an alternative carpeting plant unless someone can help me figure out what im doing wrong.

i may have just figured out my problem... my water TDS is 130ppm and ive just read they prefer hard water???

How much light do you have in the tank? Do you dose CO2 (liquid / pressurised)?

Yup. I dose CO2 pressurised. I actually lowered my lighting recently because of algae problems and it seems to be helping my other plants. It's now about 20w of LED from 36w.
Dosing flourish comprehensive, iron and dolomite pills EI weekly

pH 6.85 tested yesterday before 20% water change
    pH 7 after

Don't know about the depth of the tank and the LEDs, but with the pressurised CO2 there shouldn't be a problem. Is the glosso just not growing or is it growing upright? I know some people have had move success trimming it.
I've been quite lucky with ug, don't know if you want to try that? I had it in my previous scape and it grew for me with CO2 and lower light than I'm running now.

Yeah, I've got some already growing in the 3ft and some transitioning from emersed in my nano. Will let you know once the nano has transitioned to submersed :thumb: Don't want to give you the ones in the 3ft with algae all over.
