Re: Some of my Boyz Hey Peter It's great to finally lay eyes on your discus. They really are spectacular! I especially like the snakeskin Seems like you are getting the hang of the new toy too
Oh there's more to come, still getting used to my toy and to get to pose is another story... 8) Peter
Very hard to pair the small one's but I'guessing and 9 ot of 10 I'm way off :-[ I swaped most of my Brooders but now have 2 of my homegrown pairing off 8). I'll let them have there fun, however not into growing the fry out so.... I'll get them onto b.s. then someone else can have the pleasure of growing them out..........I'm mainly going to focus on growing my new one's and get a line going Peter
Oh I see, do you mean you're creating hybrids? Interesting stuff, can you tell us more about the process?
Hi Cameron Just a little background David has been crossing Crimson since 1997, inbreeding as well as out crossing to stabilize and as he says, "to perfect there spots and yellow base color"
Hey Peter Your fish are a real testimony to your hard work and dedication. Thanks for sharing those awesome photos! Rowland
Hi Peter Not a lot of people are working on a proper genetic line in SA, good to hear that you really have your ducks in a row. It is also good to see some very nice high bodied fish coming out of Singapore. There are some really good reputable breeders in the east, unfortunately the cheap long bodied D grade fish you see in the petshops have done a lot of harm to the countries reputation here. Which is a pity IMO
Howzit Peter, Awsome pics! I just love the Scarlet Spotted ones. Goodluck with the breeding of those fine, fine, feesh.
Thanks Tucker I am very happy to have them and it's cool to see you here Hey Andre and ta My little ones still have to grow out, I have already achieved at least a ½ inch since I have had them and you can imagine I’m very keen to get it going, so while I wait. I will be researching extensively to have a stronger understanding of what I want to do. This is going to be fun. Howdy Rowland :-[ And welcome, glad to see you are also here, my heart still goes out to you buddy. After chatting to you yesterday, I am so interested to see some photo’s on that system and keep me up dated on you friends progress. Peter
Peter I think we'll have to organise a trip to Carletonville pretty soon, I'm sure you'll find it interesting Are you in the JHB area? Also, who is the owner of the tropical fish pictures website? Is it you and Viper?
Hi Cameron A trip sounds cool, when do you want to plan this? yes I'm in Randparkridge and Viper is the owner of the website.
