    Good day all.

Hope its posted in the right place..

What DIY method do you guys use to keep plants rooted in the substrate.

Im having a hard time with some of my stems and small pieces of s.repens to stay down.
    Using eco complete substrate.

    All help will be appreciated.

I use ceramic filter media rings.
    Cheap and effective.
    Just slide the stem in.

Most stem plants are usually trimmed from the bottom.
When I pull it out I reach for the ceramic ring with my fingers then pull the all thing.
Just trim to the wanted length and put it back.
Simple as that, no damage done.

For smaller non stem plants, I just put a weight on it until it gets rooted, glass marbles work great for me but you can use other stuff.
