    Friday Tank.jpg Ok so I have had this AA 70L tank for almost 5 years now. Its been through the amazon/vallis phase. I tried my hand at DIY C02 and I eventually managed to get tropica substrate which I capped off with inert black gravel. Fast forward a bit.... I got some bacopa which was nice... at first... then masters happened.... didn't have time to tend my tank and before I knew it this happened! Taken last Friday.... Yes its embarrassing but that's the backstory

    -Boyu EFU-10 canister filter with UV light;

    index.jpg

    - ZET Light LED

    ZET LED light.jpg
    - 2KG C02 with dual gauge regulator and solenoid

    And then started sourcing all the goodies I needed and you guys were more than helpful.

    Another weeks goes by and everything is doing super well... love to see the speed at which things grow in a high tech set up.

    Ok now here is where I need a little advice. This side of the tank is super visible as you walk past I was wondering if I should just let the monte carlo carpet in between the crypts what do you guys think?

    Buces doing well new leaves too!

    The carpet will look nice between the Crypts but just keep in mind that it will need trimming which might be hampered by the Crypt leaves.

    Thanks guys.... will cut the trimmings from the front and move them to the side. Side carpet project here we come! Will keep you posted. The fact that I can see that angle every time I walk past the tank is def pushing me to do it anyways :)

    Here we go another weeks comes and goes...

    This week I did the following:
    1. Got more plants: Golden Leaf Anubius, Ludwigia Arcuata, Anubius Nana/Petite and more BUCE!
    2. Got 2 more ottos and an siamese algae eater (camera shy...)
    3. Nuked the BBA with Excel... its busy dying (once again only on the left crypt)
    4. Rehomed all the mountain minnows so the micro rasboras and shirmp are no left to do their own thing
    5. Started the left hand side carpet did a bit of a rescaping as you can see in the pics below :)
