    Hi, guys and girls I am looking for Ramshorn Snails & Malaysian Trumpet Snails. If you have some I can take off your hands I will be forever grateful if you are in the Pretoria/Centurion area. Cheers.

    Why would you want trumpet snails? Im prepared to throw out about 30liters worth of soil (if not more) of soil coz its infested with trumpet snails and I cant get rid of them.

    @Waldip Get yourself a few assasin snails and then you will know why;)

    Haha, I had those in abundance also, they don't really eat the trumpets.

    I'm a bit far away. Not sure if any snails are surviving in the tank since the light died anyway.

    Get yourself some copper sulphate - no more snails. But then you will have to deal with the ammonia spike. Probably best to do this without fish in the tank. Also any other inverts will also be done for. On the plus side any algae will also die. Copper is usually found in algaecides.
