Hi guys I noticed this evening that my male guppies have ragged tails. This is in my 300l with Angels, Bolivian Rams, harlequins, neons, cardinals, SAE,corydoras, ancistrus and some shrimp. Is this a disease or one of the tank mates? I think it's a tankmate, the question is which one? I'm inclined to say the Rams. Any ideas why it's happening? Thanks, Marc
yep agree and it depends on the tank size and population as well.. my veil tail ancistrus squad never seem to get nipped..
Most likely the male guppies are getting nipped at by the other fish in your tank, which could be anyone of your fish in the tank.
I would say angels or rams. Cichlids tend to be nippers, although my barbs also had a go at guppies so maybe it is the tetras. Hard to be sure
