    Hi guys

I noticed this evening that my male guppies have ragged tails. This is in my 300l with Angels, Bolivian Rams, harlequins, neons, cardinals, SAE,corydoras, ancistrus and some shrimp.

Is this a disease or one of the tank mates? I think it's a tankmate, the question is which one? I'm inclined to say the Rams. Any ideas why it's happening?

    Thanks, Marc

Sadly no. Their tails were perfect when I put them in the tank a few weeks ago. :-(

most small fish will nip other fish, so i guess its the neons, cardinals or harlequins..

Most likely the male guppies are getting nipped at by the other fish in your tank, which could be anyone of your fish in the tank.

I would say angels or rams. Cichlids tend to be nippers, although my barbs also had a go at guppies so maybe it is the tetras. Hard to be sure
