Reading around on a couple of SA forums, i'm getting different recipes

    1 is that Pikkie uses

    30ml Trelmix
    1 Tablespoon Espom Salts
    2 Tablespoons of Potassium Sulphate
    1 Tablespoon of Saltpetre

500ml of RO water, mix together and dose accordingly

Then I saw an old post of WBS and the recipe he used to use for his 200l

    1 teaspoon of Saltpetre
    2 drops nah2po4 ( fleet enema / lenolax ) for phosphates ( worked out with 4 drops = 1ml )
0.3 teaspoon of mgco3 ( climbing chalk ) for magnesium
3 teaspoons of cac03 ( plaster of paris ) for calcium

Which I gather was dosed directly into the tank or with a water change?

Basically i'm looking around for PMDD recipes with items that are available here in SA. Buying off the shelf ferts its getting way to expensive :-\

The cheapest PMDD I found was saltpetre for NO3, epsom salts for Mg, Lenolax for phosphates

Elements that are particularly bugging me are Potassium and Calcium, but I don't have drop tests for them :-[

Calcium carbonate CaCO3 is lime (kalk) not plaster of paris.

Plaster of paris is CaSO4 Calcium sulfate
