When i built my plywood aquarium i used Marine Epoxy paint. I also had to buy a base epoxy to paint the timber before i applied the Marine Epoxy. I used Technipaint in East London. Technipaint Capetown Nr 8, 16th Avenue Maitland, Capetown 021 593 5653

About the same price. But this was 4ish years ago. Give them a call and get pricing. Might be cheaper might be more expensive.

Both were 2 part, so yes mixing was involved. Work in well aired area and in the shade, as the epoxy will bubble in hot direct sun. Gets very hot.
