    Hi Guys

I have had feed back from my overseas supplier with reference to the plants that have few or no roots at all, Microsorium, Cryptocoryne & Glossostigma. Just plant the plants into your substrate and with goog lighting , new roots will grow. Microsorium has been removed from the mother plant with few strands of root, attach to bog wood and it will grow. If one sees the plantlets on the Microsorium (Java Fern) leaves, that is how Java fern is propogated.
Any other questions is most welcome.

You could alternatively just float them until the roots develop and then plant them.

Philip, congrats on the plant shipment, very nice indeed :)

I’ve also found that when floated, the roots of my Microsorum pteropus and Anubias barteri var. nana plantlets in particular, grows much faster, longer and downwards as if reaching to attach\anchor to something. This gives you more root to "play"

    hi phillip,

i have found that the cryps shoot new roots the moment htey come incontact with the substrate... but the old leaves also die off and new ones come out
