Panaroma seldomly has good plants. If they do, its gone within 1 day.

Ecopets & Aquariums in Parklands normally has good plants.

Alternatively, everyone on this forum are forever sharing plants (that's why I have so many diffrent plants), so I suggest you ask around. I have some Hygrophilia Difformis, Ludgwia Repens & Limnophilia Sessiliflora shoots I can part with. You will have to come them up though. PM me if you're interested

    Cheers
    Dale

    Hi Andre

Nope, not starting a new tank yet... Enjoying married life for now, but I'm itching to start something again.

I'm looking for plants for my sisters tank. We can't find anything decent in the Northern Subs, I think a trip to Nick @ Hartlands will be our only choice...

Thanks for the offer Dale, but my sisters set-up is very basic, Don't want to kill off those nice plants.

Melissa, me and Dale pass plants among us. If Brackenfell is closer, you may also pick some up from me.

huh? Panorama has them? Ok, will make a turn there on Saturday morning as I have to go pick my sister up in the area. But if you get to Nic and he has them, rather get them from him for me...he said he was going to arrange for me and I don't like ditching people. Besides, with him, I know my fish will survive :)

Plants in Cape Town to buy

Hi. Does anyone has plants to sell (or sponsor) in the Kraaifontein, Brackenfell, Durbanville, Kuilsriver or Blackheath area? Most Petshops has a serious shortage of decent plants available. Busy setting up an old 1.2 tank to grow plants for my 2.4 tank. Have some leaf stems that I am trying to grow, so wish me luck. Thanks

Not many pet shops in those areas worth mentioning, but you could try Aquaterra, they occasionally have something interesting.

    Aquaterra
    Bottelary Rd
    Kuils River
    7579

    Tel: 021 9034217

    Otherwise, try these guys.
