Thats crazy heating. I run a 1.5 x 0.6 x 0.75 off a single jager 300 and it keeps it at a good 28. And can take it to 32 if I want. Love your spondge filters I run them in my fry 1.5m fry tank.

A large tank I would like to run two heaters as well.. why? less stress on the heaters, and backup in case one fails.. :) same with filters, I always run two filters on a tank larger than 100L.

I always run 2 heaters. 1 Eheim 300 and 1 Eheim 250 for redundancy in the event one fails. It's also less stress for the heaters if there are 2 running at the same time. I run 2 large sponges on all my big tanks and 1 small sponge on my QT's and hospital tanks.

Seeding. Nitrate levels on the up. New fish arrive in a day or so.
