Hey all I got a huge tank 1.5m x .7 height and .6 wide. I added pool sand and ADA Amazon is on top tested and everything was fine but GH is 0 so been using cichlid buffer and Epsom salt to boost the pH and GH added 2 three spot gouramis but they super stressed how long should I wait before adding more Epsom salts to boost the GH again as it keeps dropping. Did 100 percent 2 days ago and 50percent yesterday
Okay so for the sake of the 2 gouramis took them out put them back in my 3ft gonna whack a shit load of Epsom salt in to overcome the ADA soil then if it fluctuates I don't have to worry about the fish
So a quick update got the tank to the correct range of hardness and oh added some CRS and the so small I can barely find them
So far got 4 barbs and 3 phantom tetras trying to build some nitrates up for the rest to get brought in
So today the tank leaked out the front left vertical seam and you can see water and air bubbles inbetween the glass and silicon, thankfully it didnt burst open or my fish would be dead, but now i have to find a way to fix it sigh
