The more I look at the wall the more I like it, "old dilapidated ruins" look, with some more stonework it could look very epic!

Thanks man! Yeah I wanted to build that wall higher but was worried about lowering that glass that it sits on into the tank because of the weight.I still have a crap load of pebbles, enough to build 4-5 of those walls.

Thanks Jax! I was contemplating a piece of driftwood between that empty space, but I need to take care of filtration and more plants first then I will look into it further.:)

Very interesting the wall of pebbles, good potential there. BTW how did you make the pebble wall? If I may suggest, maybe extend the whole wall right across the tank with branches sticking through the wall and 'holding' the wall. Have a look at angkor wat, Cambodia.

    Hey bud

My wife made it - we used a pane of glass and siliconed each piece, took about 1.5 days lol
I will check it out, thanks for your suggestions! I just want to get a decent filter now before i work on the tank aesthetics.Only a sponge filter in there.

Thanks man! Yes pls do it with perspex rather, glass is dangerous and could shatter if placed into the aquarium unevenly.

    Hey Guys

Got a bit of an issue, on Friday I fed mushed up cooked peas to the fish and shrimp, they freaking loved it and it was awesome to watch them steal it from each other, but a day later there is a white fuzz growing on the sponge filter, it looks like little bubbles..I will post a pic tonight, but I missed my waterchange yesterday so planning on doing it tonight.Any tips for me on this mold/fuzz?

The fish and shrimp colours have improved alot since they ate the veggies.

    Thanks

Most fresh produce goes "off" quickly...and fouls the water within hours if over fed. People tend to overfeed...forgetting fish (specially our planted fish and shrimp) have tummies half the size of a grain of rice (if not smaller)

So if they love it...I'd feed a small amount to them inside a small glass bowl (so you can take it out once they've eaten)...or right before doing a WC so you can suck up all the excess food
