Got this setup around September. Bought the display for 200 bucks and Derek from FFW built the stand and sump

    Display area 100X50X50 = 250l
    Sump area 100X40X42 = 168l

so around 380l system with a Hailea 2.3m return pump and 2 150W Jaeger heaters, 1 300W and 2 sponge filters

    Before stripping the paint

I'm using Flourite Dark to try propogate some fast growers and some of my favourites

Should be getting a school of about 20 neons tomorrow to make 100% sure that the tank is safe. D day for popping the Tiger SS is next week Sunday if all goes well

Going well. Lost about 10 neons with them going through the overflow and getting stuck in the media. So i've put fine mesh over the overflow which seems to have solved the problem. Stupid fish.

Tomorrow is D-Day for transfer. Still haven't been able to track down a breeding cone ???

Jungle Aquatics has them, but they are pricey... I think they were close to R200. I got mine from Hillfox for R70.
