    Hi All

Just An update on my 3ft. I did a minor re-scape. I have upgraded my lights to LED. It is a TMC Aquaray Grobeam 1500. Good move:headbang: I have also upgraded from a CO2 diffuser to an inline reactor, the sera flore CO2 reactor. The reactor works like a charm.:hello2:

    Thanks for viewing guys.

Thanks Joshua. I noticed with LED, my purple plants are now like a rusty colour. I don't know if I would have to bump up the light intensity (currently set to 70% intensity) or that the LED spectrum is lacking in colour maybe. Intensity visually looks more than the T5, I have very little (almost no algae) with lush and steady growth.

Nice! I was going to ask what happened to the purple ludwigia but then read your post about light change. With the T5's you were getting more intense red/purple colours correct?

Yes. correct, however I see as its growing and reaching to the top closer to the light source, the colour is becoming more purple like. Maybe the LED's light spectrum cannot penetrate deep enough ? just a guess here.... or maybe the colour temperature? These LED tiles have all 6500k natural daylight. I am about to receive more LED tiles that have a mixture of white, red, blue and green LED's in them. I will fit them in a mixture (colour then White tiles then colour..) and then see what happens:sign13:. Have a look at the ludwiga becoming purple at the left from the centre of the tank. Picure attached.

    Hey all.

Quick update, plants growing well. Looking healthy. :hello2:I see green fine hair like algae on my rocks and leaves. Also green spot algae on leaves. Could it be lack of ferts due to the increase in plant mass, lack of CO2 due to the increase of plant mass or maybe the light intensity is too high?

All criticism welcome. See pics below.

    Cheerio.
