    Hi folks

I have a few Manacapuru Angels that are ready to go! I'm looking for R90 each. Buy a lot, get a discount. They will be 2 months old on the 22nd of June.

They're bigger than that now. This pic was about 2 weeks ago. Can't seem to upload a video...

    Hi Guys,

If any of you are interested in obtaining special wild type angelfishes, this is your opportunity. The trade in SA sells all sorts of hybrids and crosses but these are magnificent fishes bred from wild type fishes and this type has simply not been available in SA before. These fishes are flawless and the trade in SA cannot offer anything like it in terms of quality so this is an opportunity that is not too be missed. To get to that size in 2 months time is an achievement.

Manacapuru angelfishes develop red backs for which they are famous, they are also called Manacapuru Redback angels. Take a look on google. They take a few months to develop these red backs, but are really impressive. I can recommend them for a true South American biotope aquarium.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

No they are not the same as yours, in other words the original wild type that you have that originates from me.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

Just to give you are idea what an adult looks like under not so bright light. They can vary their colour very quickly.

Tanks are easy it's just expensive for all the equipment. The owner of my local OK minimart has some of these in a 90cm tank lol

Upload to Youtube and then post the video link here into the icon editor - the link you copied should go into the "Enter media URL:" and then click Embed. Problem solved.
