Seems that the Anubias sp. (Small) I bought from BetterWeather was already in not so good condition is not growing at all but dying while all the other plants are doing extremely well. Going to replace it with the Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonzai' that I will be getting from Plantae.
just wait it out a bit, sometimes when the water changes the leaves die off and regrow new ones. happened to me and now my buce from BW are all super healthy. so hang in there, they should bounce back
It's grown emersed, just leave it! After a month it grows back just fine I'll take pics of mine later, it does fine after the acclimation period
The Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Brown', Anubias barteri var. barteri are all growing brilliantly already there are already like 8 new leaves on the bateri and the Crypt has new plantlets. It's just this one that's doing badly.
@shihr here is one of the Anubai I got from you that's doing brilliantly: And here is the Anubias sp. (Small) doing not so great two months in no root growth no sign of any leaves coming out. And most of the leaves are dying back:
give it a chance.. or leave it and clean off dying leaves etc.. it should come back.. Sorry about that, not sure what happened to that plant..
Like I said in PM no worries all your other plants are doing amazingly well, I will trim it back and see how it reacts.
Moved the floating moss ball to the center for more light it is doing extremely well and really surprised how well the shrimp has taken to it.
Added some more lights to my setup 4 watts to be exact, fits perfectly in the flip lid of the Boyu tank.
So I bought some Scape Carbon today and added to recommended dosage after my weekly water change. And for some reason now my water as a cloudish tint too it. What could be the cause?
Could also be the beginning of an algal bloom due to the additional light added, though I would not rule out the Glutaraldehyde. Question though, why ad the Glut when you already injecting CO2?
Not doing the CO2 objections anymore stopped a week ago not worth it for such a small setup hence I went the Glutaraldehyde route. As for the water most of the milkyness had now vanished. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
So I replaced the built-in filter with an Aquaclear 200 HOB gives me a bit more customization: I also completely removed the hood now added an extra LED strip and attached them to plastic trunking: Had some flow issues so I cut a piece of plastic so it breaks up the flow: Not looking too badly atm:
Thanks, I cut the floating moss ball lose so now it floats around the tank which works better than having it in one static spot.
