Joburg Zoo's new Amazon Exhibition is now open. The new tunnel through a 240 000 liter tank is amazing!

Finally, a good home for all the unwanted Oscars, red-tail cats and Pacu.

Horrible fish IMHO. Would love to see a planted tank with cardinals and angels in the aquarium

    Or an L-cat tank

Looks great, wonder if one would need a permit to go fishing here.

Anybody got an update on this tank, seems such as waste.. stunningly built, but not a shred of creativity gone into the internal design/scape or aesthetics ? Even a forest of branches and old trees could be interesting and better than zilch..

I've been there about 2weeks ago.

My wife describes it as cool idea but boring fish.

No real plants except for some valis in one of the smaller tanks.

I saw some discus in another smaller tank with loads of multi coloured plastic plants. Not a pretty sight.

The high light for me was the poison dart frogs. They have some stunning blue ones.
