    An update,

I rescaped my my son's 35 litre tank and changed the lighting. He now has a Betta living in it. The shipwreck had to stay...

Nice...I personally would've left the shipwreck "clean" tho...and used it as a focal point (seeing as it had to stay ;) ) ... then again, that's just my opinion

    Like the subwassertang :p

You would. With your .. I mean Sharon's ... smurf tank full of little plastic men.

Ok, that beside the point. I know this is the Aquatic Plants forum of south africa and some people are alergic to other decorations in a tank, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I had to do two tanks with treasure chests and hats in and you can work around it. But Like Jax said, keep it open and clean

Not so much looking tatty...more a case of...if you gonna use it in your tank, then show it. If you gonna cover it with moss...might as well just cover a rock or another piece of wood. Like the saying goes: "If you have it, flaunt it" ;)

Almost two years since the last update. The tank has changed a bit.

Like the pebbles gives it a nice sort of river look.

    Thanks guys.

I think i should move the fissidens somewhere else. It doesn't look good right in the middle of the tank.

I also need to do something about the empty spot in the bottom right corner. Perhaps move the dark piece of driftwood more to the right. I am just worried about the amount of gunk that gets released into the water when I move things. Hopefully a dose of Prime will sort out any ammonia spikes.

The gunk is there anyway. Prime can help but I just keep the floss clean and do a water change
