So whilst trying to answer a post in my "stack overflow" thread when I hit reply I got this?

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@APSA.betterweather.co.za and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

So is my laptop on it's way out or are we having teething issues?

This is new. I had to do some actual work for almost 15 minutes waiting for it to let me back in... It was terrifying!

Not intended as a complaint, but this seems to have got quite bad again the last day or two, hopefully it will all be sorted in the new year

I know zilch about IT and how forums work so completely out of my depth here, and I hear what your are saying about the volume of guests making no real impact on the server. Having said this my layman observation is that since the bogus high amount 'guests' started, the server problems seem to have coincided at the same time . I question if the crazy high volume of guest numbers is actually correct and that this is not just a glitch in the system creating false numbers. Six moths ago if you posted say a tank journal it might get 500 hits after a couple of weeks or a month, but today this is surpassed in a few hours, how can this be ?

Cloudflare is basically a service that hosts part of the forum in the cloud so even when the server is slow and giving issues you will still be able to view and post on the forum. It is supposed to improve performance as well. But I have noticed the site has become really slow especially when replying to threads or posts.

    Hi guys..

Been in contact with my friend and he says he will build the server for us in the coming week so we can do the move. Thanks to all for being patient. Hopefully this will be the last of our issues and we can finally do another upgrade and switch on the direct pic loading :)

I have tried to open the website a couple of times over the last couple of days and about 80% of the time, I hit this error.

I hope that this can be resolved because it has got beyond the point of thinking "OK, this is a temporary problem". It is now getting to the point that it clearly indicates there is a significant problem which needs to be addressed.

we are working on getting this resolved ASAP.

please be patient. it is not something we can fix from our side, and needs to be addressed by our hosting partner, who we are working with to resolve this.
