    Hi all

So I have 3 little Terminalia catappa trees and I'm selling the two smaller ones. Highest bid is welcome to them.

Getting them was a mission so please don't get offended if I retract the offer.

Collection only, in PTA Brooklyn or JHB Riumsig (weekends)

Is that a worm on the leaf of your big tree?

Also be careful not to overwater them, I see the smaller trees are a bit yellow, that potting soil that consists largely of bark, is perhaps not the best.....

Otherwise looking good. Remember it is a tropical tree and definitely frost sensitive, so guys that want to buy them must not leave them outside, or they will be gone.....

Mine is now chest height and starting to send out side branches, must put an update on the other thread...

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

    Thanks Dirk

Those two smaller ones almost died a few months back but in the past month have grown 4 new leaves.

The potting soil I use to maintain the moisture . I water each plant with 30 ml of water each day and spray them with a eater bottle. They're inside getting 5 hours of direct sunlight.

Yes they are incredibly frost sensitive!

A friend just asked me a valid question that I seemed to have omitted ... The negotiable price in mention is for a single tree. The lowest I'll be willing to go per tree is R90.00 .

With a "worst scenario" retail value of R2.00 a leaf at a rate of 1 leaf per week for the first year (as I have been averaging on the older tree) this summates to R104.00 for the first year. Negating the exponential growth in years to come and with a growth rate of 2 m per year, I'm fairly confident you'll make a profit. Largely influenced by their scarcity in GP.

Facts mentioned can be found here or alternatively google away.

Besides... What else are you to do with that fertilizer rich water every week?

That price is very reasonable and given the unavailability of catappa plants.

Thank you all for the offer!

I've had an offer on a what'sapp group for R150 each. I'm assuming no one will want to top it but will wait till tomorrow morning
