Where about is that?
They are in boksburg here is the website, Loolilocks Koi Gallery, they have a map on the site http://loolilocks.co.za/?page_id=774
Thank you so much for all the welcomes!!!!
This is what my tank looks like at the moment. I have added 3 neon tetras to see how my water is they have been in there for about three weeks and doing just perfect.
I even added a few brown snails and they have laid ALOT of eggs and i've seen there are already plenty of babies! my next step is to add some spiderwood and some plants and then introduce my puffers that I am wanting to get.
=-)))) so exited!!!!!!
Does anyone have the following for me ? I am willing to pay:
Based in Kempton Park
Loolilocks has dwarf puffers most of the time, will look nice once the spider wood and plants are in, you can then remove the air stone as it will remove all the CO2, looks like you have a CO2 cylinder are you planning to run CO2 in the tank.
I have anubias and crypts for you and some Java moss, Vallis you will get at Loolilocks, spider wood at Pets and Birds for Africa, they have lots of smaller pieces http://www.birds-for-africa.co.za/
Hi AND a late welcome here...
So why don't you ask @shihr for either trimmings out of his masterpiece or look on his site betterweather
No CO2 cylinder I think you are seeing the heater in the back =-)
No mean the red cylinder standing on the floor
Where is he based
That is a fire extinguisher hahah
Perfect where are u situated then I will collect and what do i owe you?
We use fire extinguishers as for CO2 but not the powder type.
You can have them, during the week I will be a bit busy but we can make a plan over the weekend
Chances are 95% that the dwarf puffers will chew on any other fish you put with them. Best consider a species only tank and maybe just maybe some ottos.
Ah ok didn't know..... =-)
ok where about are u situated? =-)
Yea I will be taking the tetras out once the puffers get put in!
Wouldn't you think ancistrus will be a better bet than Ottos in a puffer tank?
Apart from the Anubia and maybe the crypts...the plants wont really get algae growth on them, so if it's just glass and hardscape...I personally think an ancistrus will work better, then again...maybe i'm being a twit...lol
see if you can locate pygmy puffers instead of dwarf puffers, they a lot more manageabale.
ask @hartlands about the scar on his finger from his dwarf puffer..
once they get to a certain size you wont be able to keep anything else, or even put your hands in the tank..
Sure the ones at Loolilocks are pygmy puffers @wearsbunnyslippers ??
