Hi, so i have 2 of these 30w tubes .It says it is used for plants . Just thought i would get some info here . I wont be running this by its self . I have a zetlight 4000 and 3 t5 leds . Was thinking the pink would supplement this . Will this color be beneficial ?

Can you tell us more about the "pink" tubes. Is there a brand name?

If these are plant lights then they are probably Gro-Lux lamps which are excellent all on their own.

The brand name is Bio-lux ,from china . It does state its meant for plant growth . When I see images of tanks on APSA or the net I hardly see the colour pink in the lighting systems that are visible .

The only Biolux info i could get is from Osram. If it is like the data-sheet from Osram they are good on there own.

The Chinese Bio-Lux is not the Osram Biolux.

I expect the Chinese lamp is much like the Boyu lamps... The Boyu Sun is (supposedly) pink and is a clone of the Arcadia Freshwater lamp. The Boyu Floral is a clone of the Arcadia Original lamp. Both are EXCELLENT for plants.
