    Hi guys
I am itching to get a tarantula for my office. ;D
I was wondering. I have a used small fish tank of about 30cm by 30cm and 30cm high.
It has the obvious white marks on the inside due to the water. Can this be cleaned to a spotless shine or must I just go and buy a new tank being not so expensive.

There are commercial products for this purpose but they are toxic to fish so fishkeepers don't generally recall its name. I myself can't recall the brand name but I have seen it advertised on TV on more than one occasion. Talk to a hardware store.

You can also try vinegar and some elbow grease.

I thought about vinegar but wanted to hear first your opinions.

Get a new one, you can never get it perfectly clean. I've tried it all!

I usually stand the tank with vinegar and water over night, then use a old credit card for the scraping that way there is far less chance of scratches. Hope it helps.

Finally got a chance last night to tackle the tank.
Used vinegar only and it seemed to do the job. Will clean it tonight just once more with vinegar to make sure and then wash it thoroughly with clean water.
    Thanks for the help guys
