    Hi Everyone

    Hope this finds you well.

Sorry for the late introduction, been traveling and insanely busy at work since i joined the forum.

I'm from Centurion and I've been suffering from MTS for several years now.
Got a 320L bowfront, planted with cats and rams
10L nano in the kitchen, planted with neons and RCS's
and another two 30L tanks that I use to quarantine and or grow out shrimps and plants.

Will post a few pics as soon

    Best Regards
    Jacques

    Hello and welcome!

Nice thanks! What sort of lighting are you running in the 320 liter bowfront?

    Got 4x 54W T5's in there (6500k - Phillips Master T5 / HO 865)
Running about 6 hours a day, dosing 20ml Excel.
it was a DIY project I did back in 2012. I have since added reflectors to the back that helps a lot.

Why is your ballasts inside the canopy...aren't you concerned about moisture/water damage to the electrical components?

@JAX, as you can see the bracing on the top of the tank and the space where the sliders go makes the canopy very close to moisture free, it does limit the size of any hard scape that I can put into the tank though, but hey, when you buy second hand you don't always have a choice... photo 37.1.JPG

Ah ok...sorry, didn't know it was braced...just saw them and thought about the moisture :p

I have a 3foot tank that's braced at the back, front and middle (for sliders)...can barely fit my hand through there...let alone hardscape...lol
