    There is one readily avail that works with a 1.5kw pool/pond pump.its an in line heater made by Aqua Heat brand.heats up to 30000litres. retail is 14k.. This unit is 2nd hand and ran only 3 months and is goin for 10k .heats up to 42deg and has a cooling function as well with a On board digital control panel fully automated with timing settings and temp settings all digital

    Wow! i can setup a decenet 500lt marine tank with that,
    The price seems too expensive, the 1.2kw heaters sells for about R600 - R1000 on ebay,
    Maybe its becuase of the control panel.
    if i add another 300w jager i'm sure i can bring the temperature under control,
    thanks for the advice though

    I've made some Changes to the pond
    I added sand to the bottom,
    It's the pool filter sand silica
    Pond looks much better
    I lost all my sterbai carries for some reasons
    I guess it had something to do with silica

    You can see my second most favorite girl in the world on the corner

    I'm battling with algea though
    I've got purigen and UV but doesn't seem to help
    The purigen goes brown in like 4days
    There are not much algea growth in the pond itself it's only in the tanks on top

    Is the tank receiving direct sunlight? if so that's whats causing the algae.

    Correct yes, direct sunlight will cause algae.
