    Hi guys,

Most of you probably either know me personally or from that other local forum (not to be mentioned here?). I’ve been keeping fish for as long as I can remember. It’s kind of always been in the family, well gold and koi fish really. Koi fish are quite popular in my family, amongst my uncles mostly. I however started off (as most of us, I believe) with the common gold fish in a bowl. It wasn’t until I was about 9 or 10, that I got my first tropical FW tank (custom build 2ft cube). I was a newbie to tropical fresh water and killed my fair share of fish over a period of 2-3 years, before I really got the hang of it. When you are that young, you "mos"

    Hi Fire Eel

    Welcome to APSA!

You have some interesting plants there, I take it you got most of the mosses from Cameron? I hope they're doing well. Shipping stuff (especially international shipping) always takes its toll.

    Kind regards,
    Ryan.

Yeah, it took a bit of a knock, but I'm hoping for the best.
The US Fissidens & Weeping moss is starting to bounce back,
but the Willow moss is still in a terrible state.

    Welcome Fire Eel

    Nice intro dude :)

I also have a thing for small tanks these days. the maintenance is just so much easier when it comes to plants. ould love to see some pics of your tanks when you get the chance.

I hope you enjoy the new website. And no there is no problem with mentioning other forum names on this website :) It's all good.

    Thanks Cameron,

I forgot to mention my Nana Nano.   Got mostly Anubias barteri var. nana, some Taxiphyllum barbieri and Microsorum in there.

Yeah, it's also easier and cheaper to hit that 3wpg mark on a smaller tank, plus you can get away with the DIY yeast generated CO2 method.

Will get someone to come take pics as soon as I’ve finished maintenance (don’t have a digicam of my own).

Are you offering to come take pics, Andre? (of my tanks, that is).
Dare steal my soul and I'll haunt you for the rest of eternity.   ;D

I hate it when people try to steal my soul. But I have figured out that after ingesting any form of alchohol, your soul seems to be safe.
