Hi all. I need to cut a length of PVC tube 400mm long and then cut that length lengthwise, resulting in 2 semi-circular tubes. The diameter of the tube is 110mm. I had some who was going to help me with this, as I don't have the necessary tools, but unfortunately they can no longer help me. Is there anyone in the CT area (preferably in Table View or surrounds) that can cut it for me? I would really appreciate it. TIA.
I have a small grinder as well as a Dremel rotary tool which can be used to cut it, and then files to finish it off. I don't have discs for the Dremel, but I do have for the grinder, but the grinder doesn't cut as neat, and will need more finishing. I also have a jigsaw which can be used, but might not be too easy.
Herman, sal jy my kan help om die pyp reguit in die halfte te kan sny (ek het alreeds die lengte gesny met 'n klein hacksaw.? Ek het twee linker duime.
A iron saw should cut it very neatly and straight. You get one of those funnt little ones where only the end of the blade sticks out if the length of the tube you want to cut is a problem.
