This is the 3 foot tank. Messing around abit as I just started with live plants. Its Crypts and some Java Fern I got from someone. Heater, HOB and some cheap LED strips lights from China Mall. Nothing else. It does not look great in the pic. The actual plants I got are starting to become abit greener slowly and lots of new little leaves sprouting out - so I guess parts will die off and the new leaves will take over. The Java Fern has BBA that seems to be slowly also retreating. Like I said its an experimental tank for me - will post other pics later.

oh yes and 20% WC weekly - also removing dead leaves at the same time.

What are your thoughts on Aqua Organic Plant Care? Would like to try some fertilizer at some point, something that is the bare minimum so to say and cost effective that I could get away with just one type instead of a whole bunch of them. Not looking for a high tech fast growth setup at this point - rather something easy going that I can play around with.
